Charly Louise

Charly is a highly dynamic Producer, Director and Storyteller who believes the medium of film is an incredible tool to empower, educate and change the world. As a world traveler, environmentalist and educator, her films focus on the power of human emotion by creating compelling, character driven storylines surrounding the topics of identity, humanity and sustainability. Her most recent work, In Tune, a documentary chronicling the life of jazz legend and civil rights activist Ben Tucker, premiered on PBS in 2018. Her short films have appeared in film festivals worldwide, and in 2017 she received a Red Dot Award in Communications for her short narrative, Little Elegy. Currently she is producing an International feature documentary on an a humanitarian aid mission organized by retired Indian-American physicians from her hometown in Cleveland, Ohio.
