Virginia Leon

Virginia Lee is a screenwriter and novelist who writes horror, fantasy, sci-fi, psychological thriller, and drama. She earned a B.F.A. in creative writing for entertainment from Full Sail University. She published a collection of poetry, “The Masquerade Ball,” in 2011, and her short film “Next Chapter” won best short script at the City of Angels Women’s Film Festival in 2021.

Living in California, Virginia channels her New Jersey roots, experience as a mother, and a member of the LGBTQ community in all her writing. She loves creating dynamic female leads that are strong, smart, and unstoppable. She builds the characters she wants to see on screen and the types of women she wants her daughter to be proud to see.
