About Chris

Chris is a 20 year old Producer & Sound Engineer from Glasgow.
Driven by a passion of music and with a natural sense of rhythm, it was only right that Chris pursued a career in music.

Chris chose to start his journey by learning the Clarinet aged 8 and Keyboard at age 13. This led him to investigate how various forms of music were made and put together. While doing this, Chris stumbled across FL Studio and started to experiment with sampled and loop based drums, VST plug-ins and vocal shots.

At age 16, Chris started a college course while at school, Sound Production. This taught him the basics of synthesis and sound design, while also allowing him to explore how various recording techniques came to be and how these sounds could be achieved. After returning to complete his school education, Chris went on to continue the college course at Reid Kerr College and leave with a B overall for Graded Unit, multi-track recording and DAW projects.
Much to his disappointment, the college he was attending didn't continue the course and he was forced to apply elsewhere.

This led Chris to the doors of James Watt College in Greenock. Since gaining a place, Chris has went on record various tracks, start producing seriously using Logic Studio 9 and gain a better understanding of how a recording studio would work on a day to day basis. With classes in Mixing and Mastering audio, Music Law and Sound Reinforcement, his knowledge ever growing and he can't wait to complete the college course and further his education at University.

Chris was also part of acting agencies as a youngster. The Scottish Youth Theatre (SYT), Pace and Live & Loud Theatre School provided Chris with various opportunities with jobs as an extra in children's programmes and dramas such as Uncle Dad and The Saturday Show.
