Dorothy “Dot” Harris, was born and raised in Philadelphia. With her BA in Business Management she has become an entrepreneur, author, playwright, and motivational speaker. Ever since she can remember, writing was always one of her passions. She wrote and produced her first full stage play “A Gentleman, A Lady and A Thug” with the assistance of Angie Pettus in 2016. In 2017 her stage play “Tears of A Woman”, was nominated for Best Stage Play Award in Philadelphia. She has written 3 full length stage plays and produced them. She is also the Author of Jail House Letters, which is a novel that can be purchased on Amazon.
With all that life has and is throwing her way she says” well, I guess God is giving me something else to write about”. She has learned to turn her lemons into pink lemonade. With God and Angie Pettus on her side there is no limit to her gift of writing. She plans to write more novels, stage plays; as well as venture into T.V. sitcoms and screenplays.
