My name is Michael Collins Adegeye and am a talented actor, director, screen writer and basically a content creator, I currently live in Nigeria and am 21 years of age and have worked on a few projects here in Nigeria, and challenging ones too, i founded an entertainment outfit "AMC ENTERTAINMENT" in 2014, after i left secondary school, and i and some friends embarked on some musical projects, untill 2017 till i decided to pursue my movie production talent, so i created and wrote the script "STRANGE ISLAND" in which i planned to produce, direct and star in with a vision to distribute the movie across cinemas in west africa, east africa and even in the UK, everything was set, the actors who were some of my friends were ready to give their best for the project and i had highlighted, shooting locations and schedules, but the main thing was funding, and due to the complex economic situation of the country, it was hard to source, especially for a young and upcoming producer.

STRANGE ISLAND is basically about 5 college students going to a cabin in the bayou (riverine swampy area) for the weekend, primarily to find fossils to research on a specimen for a science project, they made the road trip nd on getting to d jetty, took a speed boat, to the bayou, on the way they had a strange and sudden accident , capsizing and rendering them unconscious, they woke up to find themeselves washed ashore on an island, believing they were gonna get rescued soon, they tried to survive for a while, but help did not come and unexplainable things started happening.

So the story is very unique, its incorporates nature, survival, faith, comedy, romance, suspense, mystery, horror and unexplained phenomenons.
And my vision was to shoot the movie, with Hollywood grade cameras like, Red Dragon and with a talented D.O.P and my wonderfull actors it was my dream for the movies to show (as i mentioned earlier) in cinemas across, west africa, east Africa and the UK and also on streaming sites like Netflix and co.
And they later on use the proceeds from the box office to relocate to England, and partner with Uk production companies, to create contents, act, direct and also produce more movies
and all i needed for the budget for STRANGE ISLAND was just 4000 pounds
it might seem ridiculously small, to movie budgets around the world, but the Nigerian movie industry which is the best in Africa makes quality movies with an average budget of 10,000 pounds and this is because we pay actors cheaply compared to what is obtainable around the world.
an average actor in Nollywood (Nigerian entertainment industry) earns 200 - 2000 pounds per role depending on the role they are playing.
Now with an average nollywood movie budget being around 10,000 pounds, Imagine if let say 50,000 pounds is budgeted, i can shoot an epic movie with 40,000 thousand pounds, that will make millions of pounds around the world
Africa as a whole has untapped entertainment potential, if any production company embrace this it will never lose out
Nigeria especially has huge entertainment potential due to its rich cultural heritage, its hardworking people, its beautiful lands ranging from Rain forests, the beaches, to water ways, and the savanah and sand dunes in the north, its any film maker's that want to shoot any cross country movie that emphasize nature's heaven
I can work with your company in every way possible as an actor, director , content creator, script supervisor, set design, location manager, costumes and as a producer ( ranging from TV series to movies, reality tv shows ,documenteries, short movies, with genres centering on comedy, thrillers, psycho thrillers, romance, historical epics, fantasy and so on) and also partnering with your company to make "STRANGE ISLAND" and other projects a reality.
Strange island is a movie that appeals to all culture, can be converted to a television series and can be filmed anywhere either europe, africa, America or anywhere else, and it can incoprate actors from any race, its a global movie that can be successful in any country with any cast either, European, african, asian and so on, and i have more marvelous ideas of thrilling and comedic movies too.
