About Deidra

Deidra Clark has many talents and just as many goals; actress, model, mom, artist and innovator. Dancing since the age of 6, Deidra fell in love with performance. As a youth, she was involved with the annual talent shows, band concerts and theatrical productions from Elementary School throughout High School. While in High School, she trained with Creative Outlet Dance Theatre of Brooklyn until she left to pursue a degree at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, she was able to continue performing after successfully auditioning for First Year Players, an on campus student organization for talented freshman who were not theatre majors yet loved theatre just as much as those who were. While in Syracuse, she was also involved with the Ms. Black and Gold Pageant, Black Reign Step Team and took an African American theatre class that allowed her to perform at local churches. After graduating, Deidra decided to take a break from performing to focus on a corporate career to support her daughter, who was born during her junior year in college.

Her most recent venture was co-founding and co-hosting Da Secret Room, an online show geared toward promoting and showcasing different scopes of talent. During the shows run, she had the opportunity to interview artists such as Treston Irby from the platinum R&B group High-Five, Grammy nominated R&B singer Jon B, actor from HBO Series The Wire, Julito McCullum, model Olivia Skyy who was featured in Kay Slay’s Straight Stuntin magazine and many underground rappers and upcoming singers, models, authors and actors.

Deidra is currently pursuing an acting career, having studied with T. Schreiber Studio in New York under Pamela Scott.

With several other projects and endeavors under her belt, Deidra is ready to take the world on by storm and is not short of talent by any means.
