Booster is a gritty story of professional shoplifters operating in New Orleans. Every day in every mall in America, teams of shoplifters are stealing as much property as they can; this is the fictional account of one such group. The boosters who do the stealing to the fences who resell the stolen good. The cops and loss prevention professionals who try to stop them, Boosters will follow them through the seedy underworld of organized retail crime.

The crew, as they are known consists of Josh Dungar, a rich kid heroin addict who gets high to suppress a traumatic past and shoplifts to feel alive. Ocha Mantazano, a local hood who runs the booster crew for the Don. The Don, a ruthless shadowy crime boss. Kelly Connors, an undercover cop for the state police who is trying to infiltrating the crew. Joe Montain, an easy-going surfer cop, tracking the crew. John Ritter, Joe’s new partner who has a bad reputation in the department. Sean Quinn, a burned-out Loss Prevention Manager who meets Rachel Sandenbergh, a new member to the crew who will try to get Sean to switch to a life of crime.
