Akende Munalula

From starring in Tyler Perry's 'Boo2: A Madea Halloween' (out October 20, 2017) to acting alongside J.K. Simmons in the new STARZ TV thriller 'COUNTERPART' (airing 2018), to being a series regular on the digital series 'The New 30', to writing, producing and acting in multiple shorts, Akende Munalula continues to build a steady, admirable and focused career. A native Zambian, Akende transplanted to California in 2012 where he spent two years training at the prestigious Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Hollywood. Whilst at the school, he performed on stage in plays such as 'Waiting for Lefty', 'The Big Knife' and 'Summer & Smoke'. Currently, he is working on a major motion picture script, as well as developing a new TV show.
