Christine Macedo

I’m an L.A. transplant originally from the Philadelphia area. I come from a family of six; larger than most of my peers’. Growing up, dinner time was always lively, an exchange of experiences over great food, and always several conversations happening at once. This may explain why small rooms, with lots of people talking, are happy places for me to be.

I believe that, as creators, writers have the potential to make opportunity: to bring people together, to challenge outmoded ideas, to give glimpses into unfamiliar ways of life, to help us see the commonality that exists between us.

Or maybe I’m just dreaming of a global dinner table, where billions of conversations are all going on at once. Please pass the salt.
