About Reid

I have a degree in Journalism from TCU and had every intention of writing for the rest of my life. Somewhere along the way, I wound up with a CPA license and a career as a CFO in the automotive industry because, apparently, life throws you a hell of a lot of curveballs.

Writing has always been my passion and my creative outlet. Lately, I've embarked on writing screenplays because, hey, why the hell not. Mostly, it's cathartic and just to prove to myself that I can still produce something remotely entertaining. Naturally, once I finished the first one, I embarked on the next, oh I don't know, twelve ideas that were floating around in my head and I figure if I'm going to write, I might as well try to do it better each time. Hence, I'm here to glean good ideas and habits from you guys in this community.

And, who knows, maybe one day, one of these will see the light of day. After all, people do win the lottery, lightning does strike twice, the Cubs did actually win another World Series. Anything is possible.
