Manisha Issrani Misra

I am an independent filmmaker with many original concepts. I strongly believe in the idea of – ‘Content Rules’ and have an intuitive neck of what will work. On-the-job-experience in the field of Internet, ISP and World Wide Web, when the Internet was at the entry level in India, has given me an advantage of the beginner’s benefit and rooted understanding of the new media initiatives. The latest technology of virtual reality excites me the most.
I am in the mode to think big, conceptualize, visualize, write and execute to the final product with refreshed energy and enthusiasm. And am all set to take up a full time job where I can capitalize on my passion of writing, story telling, filmmaking, content creation, content curating and understanding of online products.
Experience
· Currently an associate member of the Screen Writing Association (SWA), Mumbai. Writing feature film scripts and working on the post-production of my second Independent, non-fiction film.
· Nov 2007 – August 2008 : Executive Assistant (Mumbai Office) with Shekhar Kapur.
· 2007 – Made a short, non-fiction film- Joy Ride ?v=zHKT_bb2S8U.It was selected by the Indian Panorama in the year 2007 and screened at International Film Festival of India(IFFI) and 7 more prestigious film festivals. It has also been awarded for Photography by Short Film Festival of Los Angeles 2008. It is also shown as a indroduction film by the Faculty of XIC, Mumbai every year.

· 2005 - Production Coordinator (Documentary - Bombay Railways for BBC) with GerryTroyna in Mumbai.
