ALL MIXED UP
By Chelsea Rivera

GENRE: Comedy
LOGLINE:

Gabriela, a mixed, bi-cultural woman, navigates two different ethnic identities - leaning into her whiteness at her techy day job and leaning into her Latina side when she moonlights as a stand-up comic. That is...until her two worlds start to collide, closing the curtain on her performance for good.

Phil Clarke

Certainly suggests something dramatic, but this logline focuses solely on that first act. It's the set-up to the story, culminating in that inciting incident (when her two worlds collide). Ideally, a logline should give us more detail about the rest of the story. I know you'll be keen to keep hidden what happens, but there needs to be more focus on what Garbriela wants and what or who is standing in their way. Also, what is at stake if she is unable to achieve her goal? If it's not very high, then you may not have a strong enough story.

But definitely signs of something here. If you want to chat further, by all means message me.
