Former Model, some acting. Former current affairs researcher/producer ( 60 Minutes Australia), documentary film maker, development aid and environmental professional. I am the founder and CEO of Pacific Aid Australia. I have focused on environmental and Pacific Island issues for the past decade. In 2006 I was recognized by the United Nations Environment Program as a leader in the Asia-Pacific region in ‘Education for Ecologically Sustainable Development’. I have 20 years of community and development aid experience in the Pacific, Africa, Asia and the former Soviet Union, and over 27 years of extensive media and project management experience in developing countries, reporting as a foreign correspondent, as a media adviser and press relations manager, and advising on international political, economic, environmental and development issues. Formerly a Visiting Research Associate at the Pacific Studies Department at UNSW, and am a Certified Environmental Practioner. I was the first woman admitted to the French Professional Canon Club as a professional photographer.
