A young mother, in a comatose state, wills a "Wish Hat" to save her 10-year-old daughter from the deadly perils.   

SYNOPSIS:

“Yiyi and the Wish Hat” is written along the lines of films such as “The Shack” and “Breakthrough”.

A suspicious hit & run accident leaves Vivian in a comatose state. To keep her condition a secret, her employer OcLand showers her brother Jimmy with money. In the interim, Vivian’s daughter Yiyi arrives at US from China. Despite of Aunt Joyce’s claim that Vivian has abandoned her, the 10-year-old girl faithfully waits for her mom’s return.

A near drowning incident makes Yiyi realize her mom’s blue straw hat can somehow answer her prayer. But when she helps two kids escape the claws of a kidnapper, and gets stuck on a burning roof with no way out, it would take a true miracle for her to survive the deadly flame. Meanwhile, the mastermind behind Vivian’s hit & run accident surfaces. This person, who currently serves as Vivian’s guardian, is also responsible for the death of Yiyi’s birth father...
