I'm a Honolulu-based actor and musician…
...although my day job is running an international science organization.

So I'm both left- and right-brained. I'm both-brained, I guess you could say.

I've worked as a background actor on numerous episodes of Hawaii Five-0 and now I'm ready for a close-up, C.B. I've been attending acting class assiduously for the last year and have some material I'm proud of (but always trying to get better). I was born and raised in the middle part of the USA, but I love accents and have learned to do not-so-bad imitations of a few. French, Russian, and German are my favorites.

A little background as character context:

I've lived and/or traveled in 53 countries.
(So I've met quite a few characters.)
I have a Masters degree in international relations.
(So I know how to be diplomatic.)
I work on climate change, biodiversity, and food/water/energy issues.
(Somebody's gotta.)
I would love to walk on the moon one day.
(I know some actual astronauts who did.)
I was once almost eaten by a crocodile in New Guinea. (True story.)
And I love films and music. Acting is something I started late in life (if you don't count high school performances), but I've been told I have a certain knack for it. Must be those crocodile-dodging experiences.
