A boy with Down syndrome feels displaced when a sister arrives, but when he learns she has a physical disability, he becomes her big brother and helps her to adapt, even on her wedding day.
SYNOPSIS:
Sean, a boy with Down syndrome, overcomes his aversion to change and his desperate need for attention when he accepts his new baby sister, Kate. As Kate grows, she teaches Sean life skills and they become best friends. One day, Kate discovers that she has FSH, a form of muscular dystrophy that causes weakness of her face, upper arms and eventually takes away her ability to walk. Sean unwittingly plays matchmaker and helps Kate find romance with a man who promises to carry her now that she can no longer walk. It is now her wedding day. Sean is there for her emotionally. He uses the life skills Kate taught him to help her and he proudly wheels her down the aisle.

I like the concept. It's fresh. I'm quite int. in this story from the point of view that I'm also working on a story with a Down Syndrome person. Just so that you know, I never give 5 stars. We can always improve. Good luck :)
