David Hauslein's first feature Buck Run placed in the Top 40 Semifinals of the 2011 Final Draft Big Break Screenplay Competition.

Buck Run was purchased by Tomorrowland Production Co. and Intuition Film Co. in early 2016 and production wrapped later that year. It is currently in the final stages of post-production and will premiere at major film festivals in 2018.

David's latest feature screenplay, Long White Line, is a dark drama about long-haul trucking in the 1970s. It made the Quarterfinals of the WeScreenplay International Competition and PAGE International. It also placed in the top 15% at Nicholl Fellowships.

David currently resides in Portland, OR.
