AntipodeYarns is a production collective based in Adelaide, South Australia. Our focus is on giving talented South Australian story-tellers experience in telling engaging and compelling stories, then featuring their work. AntipodeYarns is also the organisation behind ongoing attempts to bring Jemma Hooper's Tomekeepers scripted nano-punk drama properties to life on large and small screen formats.

In case you missed the pun in our name, as Australians we can be described as "Antipodeans." As story-tellers, we create what Aussies refer to colloquially as "Yarns". So our name is a shameless portmanteau of the two terms.

AntipodeYarns is headed up by Jemma Hooper, a writer, IT professional and aspiring transmedia and film producer. Jemma has produced a couple of shorts set in the Tomekeepers universe and been responsible for every aspect of production other than the acting (although she did direct that) and sound recording. She has also worked on amateur feature films, played in bands (keyboards and bass guitar), and is heavily involved in the local tabletop RPG community.

Jemma has also nearly finished the production of a brand new tabletop roleplaying game system set in the Tomekeepers universe.

AntipodeYarns is open to creative partnerships within the film-making, TV production, transmedia and tabletop games industries and also functions as a capable story consultant.
