About Megan

BIO

Megan Stowe (formerly known as Weissenstein) is a passionate director dedicated to creating positive change through storytelling. Throughout her career, Megan has gained valuable experience behind the lens, directing for the organizations she worked for.

One of her most significant achievements was spearheading the award-winning campaign "Learn with Love," which sought to change hearts and minds about the transgender and nonbinary experiences of LGBTQ+ youth. This impactful campaign received three Gold Telly awards, a shortlisting for a Clio Award in Film Craft (Direction), and a prestigious People's Voice Webby award, confirming its effectiveness.

In 2023, Megan's dedication earned her recognition as one of The Verywell Mind's 25 Health Champions, alongside esteemed figures like Selena Gomez, Brené Brown, and Carson Daly.

Drawing from her experience directing documentary-style content and collaborating with real people, Megan brings a deep understanding of the human experience to her work. This unique perspective seamlessly translates into her direction of actors, guiding them to deliver authentic and impactful performances. By infusing genuine emotions and real-life insights, Megan's narratives come alive on the screen, resonating deeply with audiences. Additionally, her profound understanding of the complexities of the LGBTQ+ community allows her to authentically represent their stories, amplifying voices that are too often marginalized.

Additionally, Megan's corporate experience gives her a clear understanding of brands' needs, helping her create content that aligns with their vision and values, while resonating with audiences.

As she embarks on her next chapter, Megan is eager to collaborate with individuals and organizations who share her vision for meaningful storytelling. Together, they can spark conversations, challenge perceptions, and encourage social progress.
