Rodney Rogers-Beckley

An independent Producer and has produced graphic arts, Radio/TV commercials, music videos, video documentaries, edited television miniseries and weekly entertainment programs for television in Sierra Leone and Liberia. He has also worked for the United Nation Mission in Liberia as an Independent Video Producer and provided pro bono service in the Press Secretary’s office of the President of the Republic of Liberia between 2008 - 2013. He holds a Diploma in Film Making which he attained in 2005 through the London, England- based charity network SCRIPNET, this training was held at the British Council in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Born in the West African state of Sierra Leone on January 15, 1970, Rodney is pursuing his goals as a businessman, Film Maker, Editor, Actor and philanthropist. He is currently based in California where he moved to few years ago after appearing in his first major feature - OUT of My Hand as an actor in July 2014. He is also working to produce and direct 3 some shorts before the end of summer 2019.

He graduated in 1989 from St Johns Secondary School in Sekondi, Ghana; in 1992 from the University of Cote D’Ivoire with a Diploma in Spoken French and in 1995, from Species College in Zimbabwe as a Programmer. Rodney is fluent in English, French and Krio. He is also working on his forth language, Spanish.

Rodney is opened to collaborate with filmmakers, especially those living in California.
