SYNOPSIS:

In the late 90’s and early 2000’s In Michigan, King a young boy wants to have a life like a normal family or child. King is faced with devastation when he’s molested with incest and his mother Claire is very ill to support the dreams and gifts of her child to make it out of a cycle of poverty and familial abuse. Claire dies from a chronic heart condition and King and his family splits up. King has a encounter with God. Barry, King’s mentally and physically alcoholic father didn’t make it easier for King’s transition. King finds relief and escape in sports while coping with his trauma in his past and figuring out how to bring resolve and hope for his life and family with a word from God
