About Areeb

Areeb Zuaiter is a multinational filmmaker living between Jordan and the US. Her work focuses on art, identity and social issues. Her passion is to build bridges between the East and the West by supporting rising voices in the Arab world and its diaspora.
Zuaiter led the Regional Training Department at the Royal Film Commission – Jordan. She worked for the Associated Press and the National Museum of American History. Zuaiter currently teaches Visual Literacy and History of Documentary at the American University and Media Production II at Howard University in Wshington, D.C.
