Emlyn Guiney

As an actor trained in physical theater and ensemble creation, I work with theater companies to create original, physically adventurous pieces. I'm drawn to theater that is visceral; Theater that creates a new world by twisting our daily reality, making it magical, absurd, and profound. As a director, I enjoy working with a tight ensemble, collaboratively dissecting and reinterpreting intriguing themes and stories.
I am the Co-founder of The Collaboratory group- a collaborative laboratory for the exploration and creation of physical theater. I am also the founder and producer of TENT (Temescal Entertainers' Neighborhood Theatrics) a FREE quarterly event featuring short acts from adventurous, interdisciplinary performers.
