While studying acting at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts I wrote and directed my first film Young America Saturday Night. Upon graduating I wrote and Produced the Pilot The Mortician. I hooked up with Rear Naked Studios in Texas who liked the idea, and we produced it together.
The Mortician is my take on the American Southern Gothic.
As the writer I aim to siphon the angst
and tragedy of these living and
breathing characters and transmute their despair into black comedy.
I write these characters and produce these scripts because I don’t want to wait to be casted in interesting roles.
