Lisa V. Arrington

In 2007, Lisa was handpicked to serve as Associate NY Casting Director for the controversial bio-pic “Notorious”. The Fox Searchlight Pictures’ production of the life-story of the late Rapper, Christopher “Notorious B.I.G” Wallace, premiered in January 2009, paying homage to the talent of Christopher Wallace, who made a substantial impact upon the World of Rap Music. In addition to casting “Notorious”, Lisa also worked on segment casting for Fox Searchlight Pictures features, “Secret Life of Bees” and the 2010 Academy Award Nominated, “The Blind Side”, which movie lauded Sandra Bullock an Academy Award for Best Female Actor in a lead role.

Negotiating a career shift, Lisa entered into the world of modeling as a mature, curve model. Her brand, ‘She is LVA’ and mission serve to influence and drive more exposure toward nurturing an authentically wholistic lifestyle. To date, Lisa has been published modeling in several national magazines, has appeared in a number of television and media properties and has walked the runway in the lauded NYFW SS18’. Lisa is in development of a documentary project, television series and has written and is currently executive producing a television docu-series that shines a light on the lack of mainstream diversity: ethnic, mature, curve/plus size model representation in featured editorial campaigns crafted and controlled by the fashion, beauty industries.
