About Ryan

Me film is shot and edited. It is powerful and positive...and beacons completion. Need to replace narration with the right voice, color correction, audio.

Living a filming dream, my background might be unusual for this platform. I've spent much of my career working as an educator, archeologist, and boat captain. All my passions came together a few years back when my family and I spent three years sailing through sixteen countries shooting the docudrama I am now working to wrap up.

It is told through a sixty year old version of my son Saelyn, looking back on a sailing voyage, where his parents searched for the life skills we'll all need to thrive in this changing world. People think the cinematography is good. We shot with indigenous priests, gangsters, professors, and pirates of all types. We wrote and recorded music along the way. I live on Maui, and am doing this out of pocket. We are close, but need to figure out how to wrap it up on a shoe string.

Unique traits: Creative, composer of compositions, framed in both aspect ratios and musical notes.
