A storyteller since a wee child, Carolyn first began by convincing her parents that she really didn't do that ... whatever it was she was in trouble for. When a sibling decided he'd had enough of being on the wrong end of those stories, Carolyn began looking for other outlets to share her tales ... short stories and poems. Once she was old enough to go to the movies, she was mesmerized by the power of stories on the screen. But the wonderful world of filmmaking didn't open up to her until later, and she decided to tell her stories cinematically, first as a screenwriter, and then as a director and producer. And thus a filmmaker was born, and life is good

Assistant Director This feature is a dark drama about the destruction of the American family through the greed of the me-first society in which we live. However, a deeper look finds that there is discord throughout as tensions, misfortune and distrust begin to tear them apart. With questionable intentions, one son devises a scheme for a quick payday at his brother's 'consenting' expense. Things go horribly awry when the unfortunate ramifications of their actions lead directly back to the family - in a far-reaching domino-effect that they could never have imagined.
