Two High School teens from upstate NY bend all the rules to attend a punk rock show in NYC.

SYNOPSIS:

Rick and Chad want nothing more than to be a part of the punk scene in NYC. Having fallen in love with punk rock, their biggest goal is to hit a show at the legendary cbgb's venue in the lower East side.

This movie takes place in 1988. In a time where New York City was the real New York City. A dangerous New York City. When crack and gangs ransacked the land. A time where teenage mischief prevailed. When Impressing your friends in high school was the most important thing, and NYC adventures were the ultimate aphrodisiac for Upstate suburban teens from a tiny town.

In this week-long adventure. Rick who hears about the show on the radio and surprises Chad with two tickets. Gains courage to talk to a crush and falls head over heels for her. As far as the tickets go. Due to using a credit card he should never have used the tickets were sent to his ex's house. Her new beau can't wait to talk to Rick to discuss why tickets with his name showed up at her house. He after a close call, outsmarts the police and then lies to his parents and his job, securing his participation.

His best friend Chad merely has to figure out a way to get down to the show having no job and no money. A daring plan leads to a felonious act. And a heart racing after school adventure.

And then the day arrives. The week-long awaited trip to New York City. A busy metro train and occupied bathrooms present a problem. Arriving in NYC, Rick hopes for good karma and they come across a surprising Subway performer. after grabbing a slice of Ray's famous Pizza they make their way into the Bowery neighborhood only to get surrounded by four local Street toughs. A last-minute thrilling rescue from a local punk legend saves them from there first New York City mugging.

They finally reached their destination and not only does the craziness of the scene and the show live up to their expectations, it changes their lives forever. Violent dancing, brotherhood, inclusiveness and meeting his Idol, Jimmy G from Murphy’s Law ensure this trip wasn’t a one time thing.
