Angelica Witherspoon-Cassanova is a Florida native who believes in the transformative power of stories. A lifelong lover of the written word and all forms of visual storytelling led Angelica to earn a screenwriting graduate certificate from UCLA and an MFA from the New York Film Academy. She's produced shorts and indie projects, written several scripts, and is the author of the YA book series, Clip-Clop Chronicles. Though a lover of most genres, she tends to focus her storytelling skills in the dramedy and adventure realms. Whether typing her latest ‘fade out’ in a screenplay, or sending an edited video to render, she embraces narratives that educate, encourage, and entertain.
Currently splitting her time between Florida and California, Angelica enjoys working in the entertainment industry in partnership with production companies and in freelance capacities. Raised with a strong sense of community, she enjoys volunteering with an adult literacy program, an equine therapy program for veterans, and community food pantries. When she’s not creating, Angelica can be found traveling the globe or enjoying a ride on her favorite equine. Fun fact – her name has more characters than the entire alphabet!
