Wax Wings Productions

We are an exciting new theater company in Boston, MA. Hailing from New Hampshire, New York and Rhode Island, we converged in Boston, MA. We were individually compelled by the thriving, innovative and exuberant theatre scene we found in a city as beloved for its sports as renowned for its history and academic institutions.

Working together as actors, we discovered a common penchant for stories about people who fall from a position of power, privilege or ignorance and must rely on their most primal instincts to survive.We agreed that some of the most interesting theatre emerges through daring choices made by actors, directors and designers alike.

Living in a world of rapid change and revolution, we strive to examine ourselves at this core level. What does it mean to be human? We will investigate what happens when we are stripped of everything but our mind, body and soul, what happens to the people around us, and how we all evolve. We dare to make bold choices, to challenge the norm and to truly explore our 'Humanity.'

We hope curious audiences come hungry and leave enriched, enlightened and inspired to explore themselves.
