About Cathy

Catherine E. Rubey graduated Indiana University with a degree in Radio/TV/Film from the School of Telecommunications in 1992. Upon graduation, she focused on the advertising and marketing aspect of her training, designing and implementing several national product marketing campaigns and promotional materials, and writing advertising copy for radio and television commercials. She also spent several years working as a paralegal in a high volume law firm where she honed her multi-tasking and conflict resolution skills.

Catherine operates the creative arm of the consulting company, InGe, Inc. She has designed several small business' digital online presence, including websites, Facebook Pages, Social Networking connections, and serves as webmaster for each of them.

She also serves as the PR/Digital Content Manager for the law firm of Tofaute & Spelman, she designed, implemented and manages the firm's internet, media and ad campaigns, as well as their website, social networking PR presence, production, and content. She also wrote and designed the firm's mobile application, Crash List, for iPhone and Android. These campaigns have garnered new business and increased awareness via new and traditional media as a direct result of her strategy and tactics.

Catherine’s combined business and creative expertise have also converged in the development and production of a feature film, Holiday Baggage, starring Barry Bostwick and Cheryl Ladd, premiering on Lifetime, December 2010. Please visit

She has assembled a team of experts for Holiday Baggage, written not only the script and business plan, but also designs and maintains the website, social networking, PR and delivery. She led the fundraising campaign which has garnered a six figure equity investment and total investor recoupment.
