About A

A J Dimaculangan has been a visual story-teller from the time he was a young man exploring the boundaries of still photography and the effect of lighting on the emotional response to image. A J is a long time builder of brand awareness for clients such as IBM, Motorola, Cisco, IDC Healthwyse, Gulf Oil and Bubblicious. He has lensed projects including the American Experience: George Washington, The Man Who Wouldn’t Be King, ITVA’s Out of Sight and the NESN Series Be A Bruin. He received a Telly Award for the EKP for the Count Basie Orchestra’s retrospective album Swinging, Singing, Playing. Currently in post production is a short film as part of the Nepalese government’s effort to raise awareness of social issues using scenario driven drama.
As a lover and devotee of film and image, A J has dedicated himself to building and contributing to the significant filmmaking community here, in New England. His personal goal is to bring the wealth of talent of New England Writers and Filmmakers to the national and international stage, where their creations can be appreciated and enjoyed by a worldwide audience. He has honed a keen sense of audience both in a literal perspective, the subconscious; the what and the how that drives, engages or attracts someone to an image, story and subtext.
