I am the Grandson of Joe Jordan, World Renown, Ragtime Composer www.hamptonu.edu Peabody Collection and the Nephew of Lowell Jordan (Tuskegee Airman) who wrote for Lou Rawls and Sam Cooke. My Mother Marie J. Lindsey Chief Librarian for 37 years at Fort Lewis, WA now JBLM, put me in my first Stage Play at the age of 9 as Henry in the Musical "Finnegan's Rainbow" at the Fort Lewis Little Theater. From then until now, I have been a Band Leader (Vocalist), Lyricist, Script Writer and Producer of the Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., "A Prayer by MLK Jr". Throughout my Education over these many years as a Corporate Executive, 30 years, (Retired in 2005) and Board Member of several Non-Profit Agencies and a Public Figure in the Greater Seattle Area. In 1977 I moved to LA with my day job at Texaco, Inc and was Sponsored by Bill Bixby to attend Estelle Harmon's Workshop. In 1978, I became a Member of Sag-Aftra in 1978 with a Busch Beer Commercial and graduated in 1979 with a MFA! Sag/Aftra ID: 10050998 ( Freelance ) and already had a BA in Psychology from Central Washington University (1972) and V.P. of the Student Government Association, a Member of the Varsity B-Ball Team and inducted into the CWU Basketball of Fame in 2/96. While working in LA, always with a day job, I have many credits to my name and in 1983 moved backed to Tacoma and a dues paying Member of Sag/Aftra (Seattle)! In 1986, As Chairman of the of the EEOC on behalf of the Sag/Aftra Local established the National American Scene Award's for Sag/Aftra as Co-Founder to hire Actor's of Color and with Disabilities. Working in Seattle I have several credits to my name, as well. An advocate for the Performing Art's for the Washington Film Works Commission www.keepfilminwa.com and a Sustaining Member of KNKX NPR 88.5 FM www.knkx.org and Soul Gold Radio Worldwide Internet Station in Piedmont, SC. www.soulgoldradio.net.I just recently returned from a month long scouting expedition for Jook Joint locations for my Robert Johnson Story " King of the Blues " that I have Created and Scripted; from Macon, GA., through the Bible Belt and Delta Regions to New Orleans. After locating a Jook Joint location at the World Famous Grant's Lounge in Macon, I was blessed by Brother Anthony Jordan, Music Director for Greater Allen A,M.E. Church to perform at the Little Richard House dedication before the Board of Director's, the Mayor and County elected officials and 500+ Public-at-Large. I arrived back in Tacoma, WA and established a second location at Ray Gibson's Caballeros Club. This May are the elections for the Sag/Aftra Board of Directors positions (Seattle Local) and I have announced to my colleagues, Actors and TV and Radio eligible voting members, that I am running for National Board Member (4 year term) and V.P. Actor/Performer ( Two Year Term ) that includes the categories., other than Broadcast, e.g. Actor/Performer, Recording Artist, Singer, Dancer and Stunt Person. Since, 2011 I have been creating stories and scripts of which there are several in genres e.g. Science Fiction, True compelling Stories, a Faith Based Film and a Faith Based Animated Short, a Sci Fi Animated Short, Episodic TV Detective Story ( Pilot ), Adventure Film, Romantic Comedy Sitcom and my Grandfathers Documentary. RJ is my top priority. as my whole go is to create Union Jobs. Currently, I am scheduled back to Macon June 19th to attend a Buffalo Soldiers Event and to NYC. July in LA. August in Nashville to meet with Little Richard and attend the Isagenix International Convention. September home and back to attend the Sag/Aftra National Convention at the Hilton in October as a Funded Delegate! Of course, all is subject to change, if I get that call to be sent in for a Role.
