Robert Casal

Robert Casal is a Los Angeles based composer who has scored over 20 short films, 6 feature films, two musicals, and whose music has been licensed by over 100 television episodes and commercials. His fluid style allows him to move seamlessly through genres, from westerns to silent films, dramas, action films, and comedy. His music for the feature 'Then There Was You' received the award for best score at the 2017 Hollywood Dreamz International Film Festival. In addition to conducting world class players in California and on the East Coast, he has had the privilege of recording acclaimed French cellist Gautier Capuçon on two projects.

Most recently, Robert scored the short documentary 'Jim Svejda: Between the Notes', which was selected to premiere on the opening night of the 2018 LA Shorts International Film Festival. He also contributed diegetic music arrangements to the 2018 video game 'Red Dead Redemption 2', which had the largest entertainment opening weekend of all time.
