About Stephanie

Stephanie Elie is a screenwriter, audio drama writer, and content designer. Passionate about telling entertaining character-driven stories for a wide audience. At present, she specializes in the thriller, crime, and sci-fi genres with a focus on female protagonists and family dynamics.

Stephanie’s most recent feature screenplays Alpha 8 and Maxine placed in a variety of screenplay competitions including Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices, Emerging Screenwriters, and Stage 32 Diversity Springboard. Her audio drama pilot was a Second Rounder at the Austin Film Festival in 2021.

Currently developing What Happened in Folsom, a feature-length crime drama. An audio drama adaptation of my feature screenplay Alpha 8. She’s also developing Nine Vials, another audio drama centering around a small-town female detective.

When Stephanie is not working on her next screenplay, she works as a content designer and UX writer helping brands and businesses tell their brand story through their websites, apps, and software.
