I’m a writer out of Los Angeles, California (where I was born and raised). I graduated from UCLA in 2010. More recently, I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with an MFA in Screenwriting in 2017. Comedy is the main genre I choose when writing a screenplay.
My long term goal is to create original content for an industry that is currently lacking originality. These days most of what you see in movies are similar character archetypes, similar plotlines, and overly formulaic writing. In the long run, this isn’t sustainable for the industry and eventually, the audience will go elsewhere for their entertainment.
I joined this website to maximize my exposure to executives, producers, and filmmakers looking for newer content. I want to make a living doing what I love and tell my stories. I use "Drewpac" as a pen name, but feel free to call me by my actual name or "Drew."
