I always follow my passion for storytelling and believe that stories can affect lives and inspire hope. As a child, I drew characters and gave them amazing outfits and magical lives. Early in my career, I worked in visual effects and animation and then began writing and now directing. Most recently I worked at DreamWorks Animation in Artistic Development, and prior with Intruder Films (now Gulfstream Pictures) on the Warner Brothers lot. I have directed several short animation projects and a feature-length adaptation of No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre. In undergraduate, I studied Fine Art at SFSU and received an MBA from Northwestern University. I love supernatural and fantasy driven films because of their enchanted elements. I have developed a number of stories based on this genre that focus on the power of human connection. Jeffrey embodies these themes and presents the idea that in life we often experience hardships but also special surprises that are moments of magic.
Most recently, Jeffrey won a writing competition with the Emergence Group, which will provide the camera gear and lighting equipment. I have assembled a great crew and fundraising team. We are working to raise the funds so we can shoot this summer.
