About Dawn

Los Angeles born and raised, I am a Hispanic Latina with 2 decades experience in publishing, entertainment, and marketing. I have launched 9 magazines and secured upfront commitments for networks that have generated over $20 million. From being enamored with the visual medium and understanding early on that words were power, my foundation as a writer and editor was cemented at a young age. I have a deep comprehension of ROI and engaging content. I've worked on magazines to websites, TV Series’ and films, have written and created a plethora of award-winning projects, concepts, and narratives. Storytelling is in my blood.

As a mom, partner, and advocate or true equality, my career reflects a diverse portfolio. From launching multiple lifestyle, travel, art and design publications, to working at TV networks, record labels, on film production, major divisions of advertising, branding and more, I love a challenge. I have launched websites, podcasts, online stores, writing + creative workshops, am a mentor, and work within the community volunteering for beach cleanups, compassionate legislation, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and women and family services. I feel we should be an active participant in changing the world for the better.

My love of others and the belief that humanity can rise to the occasion and unite is paramount to any project I take on. At the center of it all is unity.

I am a proud Spanish Mexican American, mother, partner and avid lover of art, travel and design.
