I like this concept. Would this be a series or a feature? I could imagine it being a series :-)

As a logline I think it works for a series but would need to be more specific for a feature (name the protagonist and more info on the mysterious events)

I am currently working on the feature length, although it could easily be broken up into a series. I think it would work as either! I appreciate your feedback. I was taught in my screenwriting courses that loglines should be more general, no names, not giving away too much info.

Also, yes, I read too that it's good to keep the logline general. Usually if there is a central protagonist then I'll include a concise description. Your story sounds more like an ensemble piece in which case it's best not to go into specific characters.
