Well into old age, Carme reviews her life since she was 11 when she was a woman, having the first menstruation, until the road to aging with the arrival of menopause. Carme relives the most important moments of her life, especially the years of happiness with her husband, since they were dating, going through their wedding, and for all 40 years in which she has been happy by her side aging together, until to the loneliness that has involved the death of her husband.

After thirty years of being a daughter, wife and mother, Dolors decides to see what happens when she tries thinking of herself for the first time.
