After several years of skydiving I discovered an adrenaline rush can also be found being an actor … with less chance of getting KILLED. Subsequently, I've played everything from the mathematical genius in a stage production of PROOF, to a judge who likes wearing women’s clothes in the movie comedy SCAMELOT.
FRANKLIN WUNDER – An inspirational film about a dying man wondering if he has done anything "good" for the world, and whose actions on the last day of his life benefit others without his realizing it. (I'm the title character.)
PATHFINDERS – An action movie directed by Michael C. Humphreys (young Forrest Gump in the Tom Hanks film). I play an American General. The story is based on actual events from World War II.
FLYING SOLO – As one of the two leading characters I "murder" a couple of guys in this one. The movie was filmed in Fort Smith, Arkansas by Devon Parks - a Hollywood director and recent EMMY winner.
SOW REAPER - This is an Asian film made in Singapore. I played the main character (an "accident prone" American guy) and made some great friends while there. I also fell in love with the city which would be a good place to film a James Bond movie someday.
Next time, I'd like to be a “cool” guy like him
instead of being “accident prone”.
Prior to film & stage activities I was an
announcer at Nashville’s GRAND 'OLE OPRY.
