Jesus did NOT come only to die, and John the Baptist failed his mission to support Jesus; the story BEHIND the story.

SYNOPSIS:

The traditional New Testament story is that Jesus came to die, and that John the Baptist was a great "hero of faith," but it doesn't take very long at all, really, to prove that neither of those suppositions are actually supported by a close examination of Scripture. Jesus did not come to die, but rather, was URGENT to build a movement, and with the help of John the Baptist (who, according to Luke 3:15, was considered a possible Messiah), should have assumed the throne of David, and with Herod's help, could have been introduced to the entire Roman Empire through Caesar Augustus.
