Nel Boshoff was born and raised in South Africa and grew up speaking Afrikaans and Zulu before learning English. He studied in Bozeman Montana, balancing snowboarding and studying, where Nel majored in Film and Media Arts and graduated with honors.
A zest for adventure, Nel went on to film sharks from the depths of the oceans in Cocos Island to the Inuit Villages of the Arctic North. His desire to take filmmaking to the furthest level, led him to learn to operate the Cineflex. For the past few years Nel has been working as the Cineflex operator for Colibri Productions; a turnkey production company based in the Republic of Panama.
