The film school dropout travels back home only to discover the horrors of darkness are after her and only her family knows how it will end.  

SYNOPSIS:

After Violet's professor gave her a terrible review of her mid-semester horror film -- embarrassed -- she decides to dropout. Her roommate, a fellow horror movie enthusiast, wants to see her final film. Violet decides to go home for the weekend to think about it. Her dad picks her up, he is unusually quiet...but then says, "I found something on the beach and it's in the garage." An ornate box, chained closed. They decided to open it. Inside they find a man. He is not what he seems, he seems devilish.
