The Girl who Roared Quietly.
Based on the rebranded Novels - ( What Happened to Paul Carter? VOL I & II) now The Girl who Roared Quietly.
Through Katherine’s eyes and internal dialogue we experience the undoing of her nearly perfect life. In flash backs we feel her angst and confusion as facts and lies bombard her, whilst she tries to untangle the web her life has become, find her beloved Paul, and attempt to stay alive long enough to bring the guilty parties to justice. Confronted with more than any fiction story would allow, it is shocking to realize this is true. We quickly realize we know nothing, and what we do know may not be true. After all if Katherine doesn’t know, how can we. And no matter what we presume is the truth, the ending, we will be wrong.
The beginning appears to be the end, then the middle, and time has no meaning, Like infinity the story circles through layer upon layer, and back round nearly touching the truth but never quite getting there.
Over 3 Seasons, each episode adds upon the last, mounting confusion and clarity, weaving the truth and events, as it unfolds. If we think of a coiled spring, we have the story of “The Girl who Roared Quietly." No matter where you start, there will always be more unravelling ahead, and more lies behind, and then they will overlap, morphing past and present, cumulating in Katherine standing up empowered, and empowering, the stoic hitman walking free, and through Katherine's tenacious research, Paul going to jail not for his crimes in Australia, but for the new ones committed as an illegal alien in America.

I like your logline a lot, it sounds like an intriguing and marketable premise. For grammar sake, I'd add a comma after Aspergers (sorry to be the grammar police haha). Regardless, best of luck!
