Janine Annett

Janine Annett is a writer whose work has appeared in the New York Times ("I Have Updated My Personal Privacy Policy” was featured on the homepage of the New York Times website and tweeted by the Times to their 42 million followers), McSweeney's Internet Tendency ("How to Log In to the Student Portal" and "I Am 'Why Do I Need Venmo?' Years Old" have been shared more than 25,000 times each), Real Simple (her humor piece "Math Problems for Adults" was in the September 2019 print edition) and other places (The Rumpus, Weekly Humorist, and many more).

Janine's screenplay "Jingle Belles" (co-written with Jessica Delfino and Amy Barnes) was selected for the WRPN Women's International Film Festival in 2019.

Janine was also a reader for the 2019 Austin Film Festival.
