About Zanna

A former actor, copywriter and editor, now a playwright/screenwriter with a Scriptwriting MA.

I run Scriptwriters & Co, a vibrant international network for playwrights, screenwriters and other creatives who work in theatre, TV or film. We hold scriptwriting completitions followed by online Scratch Nights where winner's work is performed by professional S&Co Actors, and offer script notes, workshops, table reads and writing retreats.

We also run a 6-month S&Co 'Scriptwriting Toolkit' course, fabulous retreats and, most importantly, the Scriptwriters & Co International Festival for writers of plays and screenplays of all lengths and in all genres (entry via FilmFreeway), sponsored by Final Draft. Thanks to our collaboration with Posterity Entertainment, we also offer two potentially route-to-production prizes, for the best immersive theatre play script, and best feature screenplay. The next festival will take place in Bath, on 11 June 2023.
