Andrew co-wrote his first award-nominated script aged 15 while still at school in Dover, UK. He first appeared in a professional show as an actor just 2 years later, at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre, and has been going ever since! In 2007 Andrew turned his attention from stage to screen, and in 2010 co-wrote his first feature film script. Andrew has also worked in casting, producing and directing.
SLADE WOFLE ENTERPRISES
Slade Wolfe Enterprises Limited was created in May 2017 by Andrew Slade and Lexi Wolfe. Andrew and Lexi have known each other for 10 years after Lexi auditioned for Andrew in connection to a film Andrew was producing and Casting Director for. Their mutual respect grew, and in October 2016 they decided to officially start working together. Their first project together, a Viking-based TV series called Danelaw was a semi-finalist of Screencraft Pilot Launch 2017, and received a Special Mention at the 2nd London Pitchbox in 2019. Off the back of this successful start, Slade Wolfe Enterprises Limited was born. They now have a portfolio of successfully acclaimed theatre pieces (one of which has been award nominated), and alongside Danelaw they have been hard at work creating Case (a small-town detective series) and a further TV series set in medieval times called Wolf Women (which was a semi-finalist at a Hollywood festival, and has received interest from CBS). They are also in the process of developing feature film scripts.
LEXI WOLFE
After a childhood spent between Sheffield and Multan (Pakistan), Lexi completed a Masters from the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts after gaining her undergraduate degree in Creative and Performing Arts. Her first play garnered her first recognised writing award, and her work appeared in New York less than a year later. She self-published her first book a few years later in 2013. That same year, she began writing a short film which would go on to win multiple awards: ‘Learning To Talk’. Lexi won ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Screenplay’ from the International Independent Film Awards, as well as a Special Mention for Women Filmmakers from Best Shorts. Acting roles on everything from the Harry Hill Movie to Emmerdale furthered Lexi’s passion to create her own drama and plays, leading to her award-nominated one-woman show Mrs. Oscar Wilde.
