Nelcie Souffrant is an American actress of Haitian decent, she speaks both English and Haitian Creole fluently. Nelcie started acting because of her fifth grade librarian who ecouraged her to compete in the district wide story telling competition. Nelcie came in Second place in the two consecutive years she competeted. Nelcie studied Meisner at Nassau Community College and also attended Broolyn College for Theatre.
Nelcie is known for her lead role in the short film "Young Stan" which she was nominated for the "Achievement in Acting" award at the SoCal Film Festival 2013. She also starred in the short film "Transporter" which went to the semifinals in the Ron Howard Project Imagination Contest 2013 which also starred Taimak from the "Last Dragon".
