SYNOPSIS:

Pilot - Major Stephen Kyle has been transferred to ALIO, an elite supersecret UFO investigation organization, run by Director Barrett. There he meets the head of Security, Colonel Andrews and the chief geneticist Kathryn Platt. They are immediately called out to eastern Europe where a UFO has been shot down. They collect the pieces and even get another alien corpse to add the ones in the cryo units back at the ALIO base. They begin to discuss the strangeness of the place, as conspiracies abound, especially about Mr. Barrett and his “attack dog” Andrews. After long hours of studying the crash site evidence, Barrett invites Kyle to the hidden underground bunker where all of the crashed UFO’s are stored and studied. He also warns Kyle to keep an eye on Colonel Andrews. Later, Kathryn and Kyle go to the hospital to see her father but admittance is barred. She is livid. Afterwards, Colonel Platt calls Kyle in his office and warns him about the place and those in charge. Kathryn is worried about him. Kyle soon sneaks into Andrews’ office to dig up some information, but is caught by a silent alarm. Andrews and his security force rush in but Kyle hides in a closet in the hallway. Informing Kathryn as to what happened, they are ambushed in the lab by Andrews. Kyle tries to escape but is shot in the leg. Andrews is about to kill him when Barrett bashes Andrews on the head from behind. Some strange liquid is left on the floor, which, when examined, turns out to be alien blood. Kyle then gets a call that Colonel Platt has died. Kathryn is upset and they rush down to the hospital but all they see is a body being carted away. Barrett later invites Kyle to watch the interrogation of Andrews, who has gone crazy. Barrett finally executes him as a traitor. Kyle and Platt continue to study a strange alien signal they received. Kyle then gets and idea to rebroadcast that signal. He then follows Barrett to a secret location, accusing him of being an alien, which he admits to. Platt brings the soldiers and threatens to kill Barrett, but the soldiers are loyal to him. They execute Kyle and Platt. Barrett, with Andrews alongside, having faked his execution, later asks for replacements from Hornbauer. The General gets ready to leave, but is confronted in his car by Kyle, Platt and her father, having faked their own executions. They realize that they must band together and something must be done about Barrett and ALIO…
